About Me

Beginning…

I learned my first line dance (101 by Peter Metelnick) in/around 2003 when I visited the Rainbow Wranglers dance group in Cleveland Ohio. I remember that I was terrible, but I was also hooked.

The Wranglers allowed anyone to teach, and after trying it I was soon teaching occasionally. At first I was pretty bad at that too, but loved it even more than dancing. So over the years I worked hard to learn the craft and become the best teacher I can be.

My longtime friend and mentor Mary Harwood was the driving force in making me into the teacher I am today. I am blessed to now have my own classes, from beginner through advanced. And in 2019 I was hired for the first time to teach at an event: Frank Trace’s Ohio Summer Line Dance Classic.

Many classes and events later, using my teaching ability for the enjoyment of others is still a dream come true. And I still work to be the best teacher I can be.
